Located in the vibrant heart of Soho, Yauatcha Soho invites diners into a contemporary haven where the rich traditions of Cantonese cuisine meet a modern flair. Set against the backdrop of 15-17 Broadwick St, this stylish restaurant is not only a feast for the palate but also a visual treat, with sleek interiors and an energetic atmosphere that perfectly complements its culinary offerings.

Yauatcha Soho is renowned for its exquisite dim sum, and their all-you-can-eat menu epitomizes this with a tantalizing array of dishes. Indulge in the cheung fun with prawn and bean curd cloud ear (£14.00), where silky rice noodles embrace ocean-fresh prawns, or delight in the honey-roasted char siu pork (£12.00), which offers a perfect balance of sweet and savory. For a heartier experience, their crispy aromatic duck (starting at £30.00) served with perfectly thin pancakes, cucumber, and spring onion is an absolute must-try, promising layers of flavor with each indulgent bite.

With options like the pan-fried silver cod in superior soy sauce (£33.00) and the salt and pepper lobster tail (£48.00), seafood lovers are in for a treat. Each dish showcases the careful artistry and creativity of Yauatcha’s culinary team, ensuring your meal is as pleasing to the eye as it is to the palate. The delicate balance of flavors, from the spicy kick of the stir-fried scallops and prawns (£30.00) to the unique taste of the stir-fried Angus striploin beef (£45.00), showcases the depth of Cantonese cooking.

The dining atmosphere at Yauatcha Soho adds to the experience. The downstairs section may feel a bit cramped, but upstairs you'll find yourself in a brighter setting decorated with vivid colors and creative fixtures that elevate your dining experience. The ambiance is energetic yet intimate, making it perfect for celebrations or casual catch-ups alike. Customers have praised the attentive service, and while experiences may vary (some noting a less-than-stellar atmosphere compared to other branches), the consensus is that the culinary delights more than make up for any service hiccups.

In the words of a satisfied customer, “everything we ordered was delicious, and the staff were very friendly.” This sentiment is echoed by those who’ve reveled in the updated dim sum brunch menu, enjoying the signature steamed and baked dumplings that have become a hallmark of the Yauatcha brand. Their inviting staff is known to serve you with warmth, enhancing the overall experience.

Whether you’re a dim sum aficionado or seeking a chic dining experience in the heart of London, Yauatcha Soho offers a compelling journey through Cantonese cuisine. We were not treated very well. Despite having a reservation, we were initially taken downstairs to a claustrophobic table between two families while loads of available tables were empty upstairs. Finally, we asked to go upstairs and sat at a comfy table in a brighter environment. Our waitress was very friendly and sweet and cared for us. Nice food. I particularly enjoyed Singapore noodles and dim sum. Flower tea is okay; it's very subtle. Maybe we will come back. By the way, the Michelin Star is gone, as the chef who has the star left this restaurant in 2019. So should the price be this expensive?

Great brunch here today, the staff welcomed us in and we were served baby cucumbers which were a great palate cleanser. We all enjoyed different tea’s from their menu, the Milk Oolong was my favourite. Highly recommended and will definitely be going back there soon!

Hoping to replicate our wonderful experiences at Yauatcha City, we booked a table at the Soho branch for the first time. Sadly, it didn't quite hit the mark for us. The main difference is the atmosphere and service, which both feel like a step down. The Soho venue just doesn't have the same special occasion feel, and the service wasn't as sharp. The menu still has its stars – the cocktails are a work of art and the Prawn Cheung Fun was perfect. However, the kitchen stumbled with some of the basics, as a few of our dim sum baskets were oversteamed. While not a bad meal by any means, it felt average for the price. For a truly great Yauatcha experience, I’d recommend the City location instead.

Updated unlimited dim sum brunch menu, still as good as it can be, with delicious options for main and all Yauatcha signature steamed and baked dumplings. Great and attentive service. Always a great option for brunch in Soho.

Tried their infinite dim sum lunch and I have to say their steamed dim sum was excellent! Oh and the mushroom spring roll was so tasty with a hint of truffle. I went on a hot day and it’s a shame that they don’t have a proper air con so I ended up siting outside which was alright

It is a nice place, and the fish tank is lovely. Downstairs feels a bit squished in on the tables of two and a bit dark. Food was good and cooked well, we did the al a cart menu good range some a bit pricey but over all well cooked food
